Alpha and Alphes- Self explanatory leaders of the pack, in charge of pack runnings, comings and goings, business relations and etc. The alphas, however, are answerable to their pack. Democracy is a reigning principle and their position may be challenged for if felt they are inadequate.
Right Hand - The enforcer of the Alpha and Alphess, second only to them. Basically a second tier alpha. The right hand will act as alpha when the pack alphas are otherwise absent or tied up in duties.
Sentinels and Sentries- Those conducting border patrol, territory markers, and diligence of the perimeters and ongoings surrounding the pack lands. Also a lookout for prey as well as threatening wildlife predators. These officers are high ranking and trusted greatly for advice and the comings and goings surrounding the pack.
Couriers or Emissaries- The messengers between packs and business partners. Must have a polite and sauve way with words and be able to convey and relay messages accurately. They are the first impression to others of the the Ulaho Pack. Emissaries can be expected to travel with the alphas and act as negotiators and mediators
Mercenaries and Operatives- Those who carry out missions that could not be handled otherwise with meetings and words. They can be tasked with capturing war criminals or operatives of a violent nature. Ulaho mercenaries must maintain physical strength and sound mind, as well as be able to offer detailed reports of their missions.
Wards- Those that are too young, weak, elderly, wounded to participate in operations. Are expected to provide in some way i.e. gathering food, dressing wounds, learning, or teaching etc. Wards are not prisoners and free ti come and go as they please.
Guards - Work closely with Sentries and Sentinels as the muscle behind them. First line of defense for border security. When not patrolling may be assigned to a captive. Guards are often sent out to investigate claims by sentries and sentinels and to deal with threats towards the pack.
Hunters/Gatherers- Are tasked with providing sustenance for the pack and finding provisions that may be useful. They are expected to work with scouts in order to procure food and determine whether an area is able to sustain the pack. May be tied to Healers in order to help with medicinal gatherings.
Shamans and Mages Those able to connect with nature in a deeper way. Who can reach to the elders and glean their knowledge or wisdom. Shamans and Mages generally take hallucinogens in the form of plants and travel to the Irikee cave for Oracle like transcendence. They are looked to for guidance on missions and pack happenings.
Spies- Infiltrators and knowledge gathers, need a sound mind and ability to work alone or with a partner. Must speak accurately and have good eyesight and hearing. Works closely with the alpha. Spies must be at peace with the idea of bodily harm if they are caught. Spies are an integral part in determining the areas of unrest and must be able to report back accurately.
Healers- Regarded highly are those who can care for others and tend to wounds and ease pain. Knowledge of medicine and herbs are elements of the job greatly encouraged. Healers are the first inspectors of prisoners as well as their evaluators for soundness of mind or health.
Nursemaids- Males or females that tend to pups and provide their care. Pups are considered the future of the organization and require great care. In charge of their scheduling and education until a certain age.
Drill Master- Instructor on exercises and maintaining excellent health and physique. As well as preparing others for missions. Drill master is also in charge of creating activities that further strengthen the pack bond and sense of camaraderie. Drill masters are also looked upon as the best evaluators of placement determination for members of the pack.
Pup Chambermaid- The first teacher of pups, puppy drill master, and introducer of the outside world. Also in charge of deciding what future members would best be suited for.
Captives- Wardens of the Ulaho Pack, either captured for business purposes and awaiting transfer or turncoats stripped of rank awaiting to be dealt with. Also includes intruders, spies, or ne'er do wells.
