The willows sighed and gently swayed, letting their wispy tendrils caress any beneath them. Warpaint laid his tired head upon stark white toes and ragged nails, breathing in gently the summer days. Today was one of those days. The kind that let his mind toil away at nonsense and constrict his ability to function. Anxiety was eating him alive, nervousness coursed through faster than venom could. But to look from the outside in one would merely see a dog hot and made tired from the heat.
His veins stood like rigid markers along his body, easily nudging his thin skin into standing erect. His salmon tongue hung from his maw, allowing for saliva to drip into the grass beneath. Creating droplets that broke into rivulets that sunk back into the earth. His anxiety attacks had begun to surface again with a renewed frequency. He was nervous and anxious all at the same time and unable to pinpoint what was bothering him exactly. Although he was sure something about his sudden move to Graycott and split from his siblings had something to do with it.
Warpaint closed his eyes and tried to relax his stiffened body. But after minutes of anxiety induced inelasticity Paint rose. Paint turned his gaze upward towards the tree that was offering him shade. The tendrils from the willow tree hung low enough for him to snap his jaws at. The sudden movement and flexing of his muscles sent a rush of endorphins through his body. Relieving him, temporarily, of the burden of his unrest. A small wag touched his whip thin tail and a grimace warped his maw.
Wind shook the tree once more and without thought Warpaint chased after the swaying branches. Leaping about like a pup and snapping his fangs around leaves before spitting them out. A laugh wove it's way out of his chest and into his throat. An unused sound that rattled through the small clearing like chains. So enraptured with being thoughtless that Warpaint did not notice the eyes that watched him curiously. ----------ooc----------- OPEN to all FEEL FREE TO GOD MOD WORDCOUNT- who knows.
